History

For over 50 years Ritzman Pharmacies has created a legacy of providing service beyond the commonplace. This service standard was established by our founder, Forrest Ritzman in 1950 when he opened the first store in Wadsworth, Ohio. The store touted many of the “ modern day” conveniences such as a soda fountain and difficult to find products.

Five of Forrest’s sons became pharmacists and along with two additional partners have continued the tradition of service and excellence into today. Our commitment to providing quality community care has allowed us to evolve into a provider of wellness, healthcare and education.

Today, we have combined the prescription and natural health pharmacies to offer complementary services such as massage therapy, diabetic supplies, home infusion, natural products, organic foods, high quality vitamins and supplements.

This complete wellness philosophy will allow our customers to lead healthier and happier lives.
