Q: Do you offer online prescription refills?
A: Yes. We are excited to offer the convenience of online refills at select Ritzman Pharmacy locations.
Online refills are not yet available for the following locations: Berlin, Green, Millersburg, Shreve, Sugarcreek and Wooster - downtown
Q: Can my prescriptions be mailed or delivered?
A: Yes. Have your prescription delivered or mailed to your home, work or nursing home at absolutely no cost to you.
We are able to offer mail and delivery services from most of our locations. Please contact your nearest Ritzman Pharmacy location for details.
Q: Why would I want to synchronize my medications? How do I do that?
A: Taking medications should be simple and manageable. At Ritzman Pharmacy, we offer our Design Rx System. Aligning your medications so you are able to pick them all up on the same date of each month and enjoy the convenience of automatic refills. We will work with your doctor and insurance company to figure out the details so you can focus on your recovery.

Q: What is the Design Rx Pak?
A: Design Rx Paks are pre-packaged prescription pouches that help you keep better track of your medication schedules. These pouches are filled with pre-counted and compliant doses of your medications, so you don’t have to worry about taking medications incorrectly or running out. Click here to learn more.
Q: Curbside service? What is that?
A: At Ritzman Pharmacy locations that do not feature a drive-thru, we are able to offer curbside delivery service. Curbside delivery is a convenient option for those times when getting out of the car and into a pharmacy is not an option. Just call your local Ritzman Pharmacy from one of our designated curbside pickup parking spots, and one of our pharmacists will hand-deliver your prescriptions directly to your car door.
Q: Why are supplements important when I’m taking prescriptions?
A: Supplements are beneficial for preventing sickness and building up your body’s defenses, and can also be used to replenish the nutrients that some prescription medications deplete. Talk to your local Ritzman pharmacist if you are experiencing side effects from your medication, as they may be able to recommend a supplement to help relieve your symptoms.
Q: Do you offer immunizations? How many immunizations do you offer? Are appointments necessary?
A: Ritzman pharmacists are certified to give the following shots and immunizations to adults 18 years and older:
- Shingles (Zostavax)
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
Prescriptions are not required to receive these immunizations.
Please call ahead to ensure the availability of your desired vaccine. If we do not have it in stock, we can order it for you, and in most cases, have it for you the next day.
Q: Have you been in business very long?
A: Ritzman Pharmacy has been in business since 1950 when Forrest Ritzman opened the first pharmacy in downtown Wadsworth. Ritzman Pharmacy has continued to grow based on Forrest's foundation for customer service. He believed that you should, "know your customers and serve them well." Since then, Ritzman Pharmacy has grown to 25 locations, including 11 pharmacies located within Buehler's Fresh Food Markets. Even with our growth, our focus remains the same: customer service beyond the commonplace.
Q: I am currently not a Ritzman Pharmacy customer and get my prescriptions filled elsewhere. Do I have to have my doctor write all new prescriptions in order to switch to Ritzman?
A: No. We can transfer your prescriptions for you. Just bring your current prescription bottles into your local Ritzman Pharmacy, along with your insurance card, and we will take it from there. Or, you can call your local Ritzman Pharmacy with your prescription numbers, the phone number of your current pharmacy and your insurance information.
Q: What insurances do you accept?
A: Ritzman Pharmacy accepts most forms of insurance, even if we are not listed in your book or online listing. Bring your insurance card in or give us a call and we can verify your coverage.
Q: What about my co-pays? Will they be different at Ritzman?
A: In most cases, your co-pays should not change. Contact your local Ritzman Pharmacy and an associate should be able to assist you with your updated co-pay information.
Q: Do you have a prescription drug savings program?

Q: I have always thought that grocery store pharmacies only have a limited number of medications. Is this true?
A: No. All of the Ritzman Pharmacies located within Buehler's Fresh Food Markets are fully stocked and able to meet your medication needs.
